LIVE WITH YOUR EYES OPEN
Name one thing that you would see when you go outside. Is it the sun, or the trees, or the happy boys and girls playing? No, it’s all the families sleeping outside using the sun for heat and the trees for a roof. Their kids were never around because they’re out looking for jobs and money on the outside of the nearest McDonalds. These are the things you see every day because people are being cut from their jobs. Why do kids always stay away from school? Is it because they are too shamed to see their people? When will mothers look into the eyes of their children and let them know how much they are loved? Now that’s the last thing you would see.

I am speechless... I like the piece a lot. It touches various topics that really just makes you think. Where did happiness go... Where did laughter go... Where did love go...
